On November 02, 2021, representatives of the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility Center took part in the Forum "REMOVING BARRIERS FOR TRANSNATIONAL EDUCATION", organized within the framework of the Intergovernmental Commission of Kazakhstan and the UK.

In the field of recognition of foreign educational documents, a new function has appeared - the recognition of diplomas of academic degrees. The new Rules for the recognition of educational documents were approved by order of the acting Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, dated July 19, 2021 No. 352, according to which the procedure was transferred to the Bologna process and academic mobility Center of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

A list of scholarship holders for study in higher and (or) postgraduate educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan on educational programs of Bachelor's, Master's and PhD degrees under the Scholarship program, for foreigners, including persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of Kazakhstan for the academic year 2021-2022, was approved.

In the 2021-2022 academic year, 57 organizations of higher and postgraduate education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the first time recruited 320 new EP included in the Register of educational programs of higher and postgraduate education, of which bachelor's degree - 177, master's degree - 86, doctoral degree - 21, residency - 36 with a total of 5573 students.
