UNESCO World Higher Education Conference will take place from 18 to 20 May 2022 in Barcelona, Spain. People can also participate online. Online participants should register on the website of the conference. The link of the website can be found below. The registration is free.

On May 14, 2022, the Center for the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan held a regular online seminar for experts of educational programs on the topic "Methodology for evaluating educational programs". Questions on the development and methodology for conducting the examination of educational programs discussed during the seminar. The seminar will continue on May 21st.

On April 29, 2022, a meeting of the Republican Educational and Methodological Council was held. The meeting discussed draft methodological recommendations for microcredentials, rules of organizing the educational process in distance learning and in the form of online learning for educational programs of higher and (or) postgraduate education.

On April 29, 2022 the Forum «Academic Policy of Higher educational institutions» was held. Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov delivered a welcoming speech. The forum addressed the issues of trends in academic policy, quality assurance, academic integrity, quality of education and educational programs in pedagogical areas.

On May 12-13, 2022, Almaty will host the Forum of Rectors of Central Asian countries. The forum will be attended by representatives of the Ministries of Education of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan and Central Asian countries’ rectors, large organizations’ representatives such as Microsoft, QS, Elsevier, Clarivate Analytics, as well as representatives of the Council of Europe, Bologna Follow-Up Group, Academic Information Centre (Latvia).

On April 20, an online forum on the topic “How can foreign citizens enroll to the universities of Kazakhstan in 2022?” was held. This is the second forum organized on this topic by the republican information and analytical journal "Modern Education".

On April 7th, 2022 at the Bologna Process and Academic Mobility Center Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commissioner Irgebayev Y.T. together with the staff of the Anti-Corruption Policy and Ethics Sector, the Institute of Applied Research, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a webinar-interactive discussion on the topic "Combating Corruption".
